About Me

I joined the mortgage industry in 2003 as a retail Loan Originator in Phoenix, AZ where I represented real estate agents, financial advisors, and certified public accountants. My wife and I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2008. During that time, I began re-establishing relationships, which led to me eventually becoming one of the top Loan Originators in the area. In 2015, I was hired as a Production Manager where I managed a team of 20, all specializing in purchase transactions. Today, I'm back in a Senior Loan Originator role with a company that has decades of proven success. Even after all these years, I still enjoy helping families achieve the American dream and seeing the look on their faces when they become new homeowners.

In addition to my career, I enjoy playing golf, running, and spending time on the beach with my family at our vacation home in Caswell Beach, NC.

The Silverton Foundation, founded by Silverton Mortgage President & CEO Josh Moffitt, provides mortgage and rent assistance for families struggling with financial hardship due to their child’s serious illness. Our goal is to ensure that parents can care for their child and not worry about losing their home during extended absences. A portion of the proceeds from each loan closed by Silverton Mortgage goes to The Foundation in honor of the new homeowners. Additional funding is provided through fundraising activities, personal donations by Silverton employees, and sponsorships.
